Terms of Use

Terms of Use

A plain agreement between David On The Go and the people who read it, quote it, or send work to it. No logins, no carts, no hidden clauses.

What this site is

David On The Go is an editorial magazine project. Readers browse dispatches, neighborhood walks, transit tips, packing notes, food stalls worth a detour, and interviews with people who live where readers are passing through. A Spanish edition carries the same pieces plus local notes. Nothing here is a booking service, a shop, or a member area.

Reading and verifying

Pieces are written for general reading. Contributors record walking distances, opening hours, route timing, and the small failures that make a route easier to understand next time. Those details change. Check current opening hours and transit schedules yourself before you build a day around them.

Pitches and submissions

Pitches are welcome as a 200-word outline and two links to published clips. Sending one does not create a contributor account, does not register you anywhere, and does not guarantee publication. We may hold a pitch, ask for a rewrite, or pass on it. You keep the rights to your own work until a separate agreement says otherwise.

Messages and replies

The contact form is handled by the site and then opens a confirmation page. That page confirms that the submission was accepted and written to the private site log. It does not promise a reply, publication, or any other editorial action.

Limits of responsibility

We publish reporting in good faith but cannot promise that a route, a stall, or a train still works the way it did on the day it was filed. You travel and eat at your own judgment. We are not liable for decisions made from what you read here.

Changes and legal contact

These terms may be updated as the magazine changes. The current version is the one published on this page. For legal questions about the terms, write to info@davidonthego.com. Last updated: 3 October 2026.
